Ander had his 18 month check-up last week and he weighed 28 lbs. and his height was 33.1 inches. He was 75th percentile for weight and 80th percentile for height, so he is one big boy, but perfect, of course.Ander also went to nursery for the first time last week and he did awesome! He played so well with the other kids and he even got hit a few times, but he just brushed it off. yay for that! What a difference it is to not have to hold him still all through Sunday School and Relief Society!
We also bought Ander his first potty just so he can get used to seeing it and knowing that it is his special chair. Who knows when he will show any interest in actually using it, but at least we have it when he does.
I love this age, it is so much fun to see Ander learning to talk and show me things. It is also one of the hardest ages so far too, but i am trying to be better with having more patience and just letting things go. We have been trying to discipline Ander more this past week (per our pediatricians request) and it has not been working very much. We try to put him in "time out" and he just laughs and thinks we are being funny, so it is really hard not to laugh with him. I am sure it will get easier the older he gets, right? :)

Yeah he is in nursery! That seriously makes church ten times better! It is so hard to sit and wrestle with kids during sunday school and third hour! Yeah for Ander he is growing up so fast!
Wow, he is doing fantastic, and what a great boy to do so well in nursery. My mom is the nursery leader in their ward, and some of those kids have the HARDEST transition and just cry and cry and cry, yeah for Ander! What a champ. (Sorry about your hotel adventure - that's a bummer. Maybe next time you'll have to do a trade or something with your sis and just you and Chuck go!)
Oh yes it definitely gets easier as they get older:). HA! I'm sorry to tell you but the disciplining is NEVER easy! How nice for you to have him in nursery. I have to admit though that I somewhat enjoy hiding behind my child needs me in Relief Society. Oh, you need me to say the prayer...sorry but my baby needs me:).

that is so great that Ander did so well in nursery. I can't wait until Becks goes in. That is so cute about the time out!! He is such a cutie!
