The Joys of Parenting!

Yes, i am about to write another post about how my child is sick again! At least i am learning and getting more practice at actually catching Ander's puke in my hands this time (sorry for the details). I guess he had one week of being healthy, except during that week he got 4 new teeth, but that is better than not being able to take him anywhere. Ander's immune system better be rock solid in the future, or i may think twice about having another baby. :) I am off to get some sleep since i was up the entire night, cleaning up puke and taking care of my sweet little bubbas. I know he does look happy in these pics, that is because he is such a trooper!

President Hinckley...

I think I was the last to hear about our dear President's death. I checked all of my friends blogs this morning and they had all posted memoriums of him, and i was totally surprised. I also want to post my thoughts of this wonderful prophet. I was sad to hear that Pres. Hinckley passed away, but he will be reunited with his amazing wife, so that is very comforting to know and i am sure that is what he has been wanting. We all knew it would happen soon, given his age, but I selfishly hoped he would be around longer. I look forward to President Monsen as the new President, although it will be hard to outdo his predecessor. What a great man President Hinckley was, he will be greatly missed. I cannot wait until Ander is old enough for me to tell him about his greatness and example.

New Ride!

Chuckles and I decided to trade in our Pilot for a Hummdinger (in other words, a HUMMER!) We haven't offically bought it yet, but we are planning on doing it tomorrow. I cannot wait, i have always wanted one and we are so lucky to have such an awesome brother in law to hook us up! Go Scooter! I will post pics later when we actually own the car.

27 Dresses

Lastnight Trist, Jenn, and I went to see the movie 27 Dresses. It was a really cute movie and it was so much fun and much needed to get out with my girlies. Love you guys!

Daddy Obsession

Ander is so obsessed with his daddy. He follows him everywhere, he cries hysterically if he leaves the room for one minute, he says his name all the time, he pushes me away if he gets hurt and daddy is there, he will only eat what daddy gives him (most of the time), and he is overcome with joy when he gets home from work. I love that Ander loves his daddy so much, it is so cute (most of the time). Hopefully, i won't get too jealous over it. :) It will be so sad for him today because Chuck will be leaving to St. Louis for work until Friday. I am sure he will forget about him an hour after he leaves.
Have a fun snow day, it took me over an hour to get to the gym today, nuts!

Our New Bed, YAY!!

Here is a pic of our new King size bed and bedding. We still need to sell our old bedroom furniture so we can get new matching furniture and do some decorating and painting, but the bed is a start. I am just so happy that i was able to sleep so good lastnight without waking up in so much pain, hallelujah!

Mr. Sicky Pants!

So i called the dr. and the nurse told me to bring my little guy in to make sure he was breathing okay. So i took Ander to the dr. and what do you know, he has a double ear infection and either viral pnemonia or RSV. His breathing was good though, so we do not have to worry about that for now, we just have to put him on antibiotics for his ears. I guess the tubes are working, but there is still alot of fluid behind his ears. I really do not think Ander knows what it is like to feel completely good, my poor, poor baby. Here is a pic from today of me bundling him up before we left to the dr., i love his little hat.

Mr. Cutie Pie

Since Ander is sick and we are hanging out at home all day, i thought i would spike his hair. It looks so cute, he looks like Mr. GQ. This is all i have for now, have a fun cold day!

Ander's New Toys!

Here are some pics of Ander's new tricycle and slide that his Barkley grandparents gave him for Christmas. He loves them, even though he is still a little to young to play with them on his own.

Happy Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year to Everyone!! We had a nice low key New Year's Eve yesterday. Chuck and I went snowboarding, to a movie, to dinner with Robyn and Scott, and then hung out at our house after. It was a great fun! However, i did not take any pics, oh well. I am excited to have another year to spend with my husband, baby, family, and friends! Hope this year brings happiness to everyone!!
