This year for Christmas we headed up to the Barkley's early in the morning and had Ander & Sully open up all of their presents from us and Chuck's family. Ander got everything he wanted, including a video camera, regular camera, Buzz Lightyear and Woody dolls, play dough, art supplies, a sled, blocks, and a keyboard. Let's just say, he was one happy little boy. After opening presents and eating a yummy breakfast at the Barkley's, we headed to my parents house where my whole family met for lunch and to open more presents. Little Sully hadn't had a good nap and had a cold, so he was not a very happy camper when we were there. It also didn't help that there were so many people, but we still had a really great time. Overall, it was a really fun day and i am so thankful for my family and Chuck's for making it so nice and memorable.

Ander has been making...

some fun art projects with his new sticky glue. He loves making things with his glue and scissors. He also made this amazing gingerbreadhouse with me lastnight.

6 Months Already!

Sully finally likes to eat rice cereal and he also likes to stick out his tongue alot.
Sully is 6 months old today and he had his 6 month check up today as well. We found out that he has an ear infection while we were at the doctor, so good thing we went because i would not have known otherwise. Besides the ear infection, Sully is doing great and developing normally. He now weighs 17 pounds, so he is a healthy chunky little guy. I told the doctor that Sully has not slept once through the night yet and so he told me that i really need to just let him cry as long as it takes for him to fall asleep on his own. We have tried letting him cry for long periods of time, but we have not been consistent enough and he is just one stubborn littl kid. After his ear infection is better than i am really going to buckle down and let him cry it out so he can learn to be more independent. Easier said than done, so wish us luck!! We sure love our Sully though and are so happy he is in our family!!

Friend Christmas Party!

We had our annual friend Christmas party at the good old Rock Creek Pizza this year. It is always so fun to get out and catch up with my best girlies! I hope our out of state friends know that we missed them!

Thanksgiving Weekend...

We had our Thanksgiving dinner this year at my brother Jon's house and everything was delicious!!! Thanks tonz to Jon and Becky and my parents for making everything so tasty and fun!! It was also so nice to spend this year with my parents since they were on their mission the last 2 years. I wish so bad that i would have taken pics of everyone eating because there was alot of us this year, but i was too busy eating myself to think about taking pics. :) We had a great weekend since Chuck was off for 4 days straight. We went to dinner at Joe's Crab Shack, which was awesome since the kids can play in their play area while we eat. We also finally saw "New Moon" while Chuck's mom watched our boys. Let me just say that i am just not into the movies as much as i was into the books. It was pure torture for Chuck to watch and i really didn't like it that much either. It was just way too cheesy. Chuck's mom also took family pics of us yesterday, so i will be posting those later for our Christmas card since i am too lazy to actually send out cards. :)

My sweet little Sully fell off of our bathroom counter onto our hard tile floor on Saturday. He fell right on his nose and i am and was completely traumatized from it. His nose and mouth was bleeding and i was shaking and crying so hard. I have never felt soooo bad in my entire life! I was right by him when he fell and i definitely learned that i need to be more careful. We took him to the dr., but he was fine, he just has a big bruise on his nose and by his eyes as you can see from the pics. I just cannot stop picturing the whole thing and it makes me so sad! I just love my little Sully sooo much and i feel so bad that it was my fault that he got hurt.

Nice Fall Day at the Zoo...

We went to the zoo last week with grandma Barkley, Kirstin, and Brielle. It was such a nice day, we had a way good time! Karen took these great pics for us, she is such an amazing photographer.

Can i just say that I am in love with this baby! He is getting to be so much fun and he does the cutest things! He would be perfect if he did not keep me up all night with his noisy gas. :)

We had a fun time trick or treating with our cute little Bee and Spider! We were also with Scott, Robyn, and Dawson, but i did not get any pics with them, unfortunately. Ander has pretty much eaten all of his candy as of this morning, i would too if i were him. :)

We have been doing some fun Fall/Halloween activities the last few weeks and we have been enjoying the awesome Fall weather. Also, Sully had his 4 month check-up this past week and he is 50% for weight, height, and head shape, so he is just an average little guy. We found out that Ander is allergic to tree nuts and so we need to set up an appointment with an allergist and carry around an epinephrine shot for him all the time. Fun stuff! :( Chuck and i saw the scariest movie today called "Paranormal Activity" and i was shaking so bad when we came out of the theatre. There was also a girl that sarted crying when we got out because she was so scared, pretty dang funny! :) I am excited for Halloween so i can dress my munchkins up in their costumes, they are so cute!
