Jenn had her sweet little baby boy yesterday and he is just the most perfect looking little guy. Trista and I went to visit them in the hospital today and they are both doing great! I cannot believe this is her fourth boy, she is one tough mama! :) Congrats again Jenn and Jason, you sure make them cute!!!
Yesterday morning poor little Ander starting getting hives all over his body, so I took him to the dr. and they decided not to give him another shot & instead put him on a different antibiotic. The antibiotic they put him on has given him worse diarreah than he has ever had before! It is seriously everywhere!! (sorry if this is too gross, but you will know if you have ever had a kid) There is no stopping the leaking and Ander still has hives all over! We have been giving him Benedryl, so hopefully, the hives will go away soon. As for the messy pants problem, that should last for another 1o freaking days! Give me strength to endure it! :) You should be able to see the hives on the pic above, so sad!
Even though you cannot tell from the pic above, Ander has had a runny nose, cough, and diarrhia (sp?) for a month now!!! I called the dr a few weeks ago and they just told me to let it run it's course since Ander does not have a fever and has been eating well. The diarrhea actually stopped for a few days but now it is back in full force and i just feel so bad for the little guy! When is he (and me) going to get a break!! (i am being a little overly dramatic) :) I think i will call the dr again tomorrow and see if there is anything we can do at this point. I know Ander is not the only sick kid these days, bugs are just going around right now, but it is sure not fun. Life is great though, we are super lucky because things could be alot worse.
We drove up American Fork canyon today with Chuck's parents and his brother Ian's family. It was so cool to see the how the leaves have changed and it was fun to hang out with Chuck's fam. We had a picnic in the rain and it was so funny because Chuck's dad and bro built a little tent with blankets and rope to protect us from the rain, they are such the outdoorsmen! I could not get a good pic, but this one is of Ander trying to eat a rock under the tent and the other one is of Chuck's parents and you can see the makeshift tent behind them. 
This week the daycare at my gym was closed because of a flood, so Ander and I went walking every day with my sister Robyn and her little guy Dawson. We also went shopping in Park City twice and got some good stuff. It was a fun week to spend with Rube (Robyn) and Squirty James (Dawson)! Too bad, Chuck had to get sick this week and he had so much work to do, but i think he is doing better today. I am so happy to be able to go back to the gym today, yay!!
Ander has learned to get into to everything this week! He even spilled an entire large Diet Pepsi fountain drink from off of the table onto the rug below it and i still have not been able to get it out (my fault, i guess) :). The joys of having a one year old!! We finally had to put child proof latches on all of the cupboards that he should not get into this week and that has helped a little bit. Even though Ander is a little mischief maker (which i know is normal and he could be alot worse), I cannot imagine not having such an amazing, adorable, wonderful child like him. I feel so blessed to be Ander's mother and i just love him more and more every day!
I just wanted to post a pic of Ander with his new haircut that his dad gave him lastnight. I must say, Chuck did a fabulous job. :)
We went to Chuck's parents house today for dinner and his mom made Chuck's favorite dessert for his birthday, it is called Paris Brest, which is like a big cream puff. Chuck's actual birthday is on Wednesday, Sept 12th, but we won't be celebrating much that day because he has already gotten all of his birthday presents and he is not eating any desserts for the month of September (except for the Paris Brest we had tonight, of course). Maybe i will make him a fruit salad or something healthy like that, lucky him! :)
Trista, Jenn, and I went to Becky's wedding together at Log Haven on Friday and unfortunately, Chuck had to stay home to watch Ander because he was still sick. Becky looked gorgeous and it was a really nice ceremony and lunch. I am really glad that Becky found such a nice guy to marry and they both looked so happy. I also loved being up in the mountains, it was so pretty. This pic is not the best since i look prego just like Jenn in the shirt i was wearing and i had a major hair fiasco that i was not happy about, but it is the only one i have of us at the wedding, so oh well.
I put Ander in his swing (even though he is pretty much too big for it now) to help him fall asleep because he would not fall asleep in his crib. And this is how i found him a few minutes later.
Ander loves to have his daddy give him a bath! By the way, Ander is sick AGAIN! He has had a cold forever, it seems, poor little guy!
