Anniversary Celebration & Dawson's Baby Blessing

Ok, so I think I have figured out how to do this blogging thing, except I do not know how to shrink my pics yet, hopefully i will be patient enough to learn soon. So, Chuck and I stayed in Park City on Friday night at the Canyon's where we stayed on our honeymoon (i know extravagant honeymoon, but i still loved it). It was the first night that i have been away from Ander and it was very enjoyable and relaxing. Chuck and I were planning on going on the Alpine slide and then to dinner and then a movie, but we were too hungry so we ended up eating an early dinner at Main Street Pizza & Noodle (which is my fave) and then we just ended up sleeping the rest of the night pretty much. Sounds boring, but we really needed the sleep and it was nice just to relax in our hotel and watch a movie. We went to breakfast at Ruth's Diner and it was very tasty, so that was our anniversary get away. Tomorrow is our actual anniversary and i think i will just make a special dinner for Chuck, we will see how lucky he is, since i do not do that very often. :)
Anyway, today was a very special day for my sister Robyn and her husband Scott. My dad blessed their baby boy Dawson and it was very a great blessing and we had alot of great food after at their house. Unfortunately, i was not able to get a pic of cute little Dawson in his blessing outfit, but we took one of Chuck, Ander, and i, which is posted under my profile to the right. Well, that is about it for now. One more week from tomorrow until my parents leave to the MTC. :(

I Finally Did It!!

Ok, so I have officially joined the blogging bandwagon. It has taken me almost a year, but I finally decided I needed to stop being lazy and reading everyone else's blogs and start my own. If no one reads this, i do not blame them, this will be more for me and for the memories of my family, friends, and raising my little guy. Hopefully, I will do this right.
So, yesterday my parents had their missionary farewell and their talks were so amazing and touching. Of course, we all cried, but we are so excited for them, even though it will so hard to see them leave and be gone for a year and a half. For those of you who do not know, they will be going to the BYU Hawaii mission on August 6th. After the farewell, Chuck's mom took family pics of all of us and i will post one, once i get them back from her. Chuck and i are planning on going to visit my parent's next May, so that will be alot of fun and it will be our official honeymoon as well, since we didn't really have one before. And now, here are some updates on how Ander is growing and learning. He is pulling himself up on all of the furniture, his crib, the bathtub, and he is making teeth marks on the wood at the same time. Ander has 4 teeth now, 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom, so they can be quite harmful, but they are sooo cute! Ander also claps his hands 50% of the day, whenever he hears me sing or if anyone looks at him, or just because, he is quite entertaining i must say. Ok, i hear Ander waking up from his nap, so i will post later and add some pics as well. Thanks for stopping by!
