What we have been up to... & Happy Day to J!!

I haven't posted for a while because we have been so boring around here and i don't even have a pic to post, that is how boring things are around here. Ander and i were both sick last week with colds, so we mostly chilled at home all week. Yesterday, we actually went to an Aquarium in Sandy and Ander loved it. I did think that it was too expensive for what they had there though, but it was still worth going since Ander was so entertained. It has still not been warm enough to play outside, so i have been struggling with ideas of things to do lately. Ander is at such a funny age right now, he makes me laugh all the time. Whenever i ask Ander where mommy is, he points to himself and says"ME"! I really do not think he knows that i am mommy, it is hilarious. However, he constantly says "daddy" and is always asking where he is. I just love my little guy so much and cannot imagine life without him or his daddy.
I also want to shout out a Happy Birthday to my most wonderful, fun, hilarious, talented, smart, beautiful friend Jenn! I sure hope her birthday is fabulous tomorrow and that she gets all of the presents she has requested and more! Jenn is my oldest and best friend ever, i am so thankful for her enduring friendship, i would be lost without her in my life!

Sunday Dinner & the Park!!

We had Sunday dinner with my family and Ander was being super funny with all of his cousins, we had a great time! We also were finally able to go to the park yesterday since it was so warm and Ander had a blast! It was really windy though, so we didn't stay very long. Ander is still pretty scared of swings and going down slides by himself, i need to work on that with him some more. Don't you love Ander's new smile's,they are hilarious!! Now on to another cold day, hope it is great for everyone!

Happy Birthday Rube & some random pics!

Tomorrow is my lovely sister Robyn's birthday. Rube is such a great sister and pal, i do not know what i would do without her. We went to the Cheesecake Factory lastnight for dinner to celebrate, however, i only have a pic of Dawson and Ander, because they are the stars anyway right? The other pics are of Ander being super cute as always and of my cute little chubby nephew, Davis. I love my cute nephews, they are the best! I sure hope you have a great birthday Rob! Love ya!

Happy Birthday Karen!!

It is my wonderful mother in law's birthday today and i want to let her know that she deserves to have a fantastic day. I could not dream or ask for a better mother in law or grandma for Ander. She is also a great friend, i love hanging out with her and i feel that i can tell her anything. I know not many woman can say that about their mother in laws, so i know i am super lucky that i can say that. Karen is also so selfless, non-judgemental, very tough to raise 5 kids pretty much on her own while her husband was in med school and worked long hours, a great cook, talented artist and photographer, and a fun mom and grandma. I could go on and on, she truly is such an amazing person and i am so blessed to be a part of her family. Happy Birthday Karen, we love you so much!! These pics are from our dinner on Sunday.

Backyard Fun! (i am not very witty with my titles)

When the weather was warm last week, i took Ander to play in our neighbors backyard and he loved it so much, he cried and cried when i had to take him back in the house. So Chuck decided last weekend that he would build window well coverings for all of the window wells and he bought a little swing set, a sand and water cart, a basketball hoop, and a lounge chair and umbrella so that Ander could have some fun things to play with in the backyard, while i watch him on the lounge chair. Isn't Chuck so awesome and thoughtful? The pic i took is not very good because i took it from inside the house at 7 in the morning because it was so cold, but i really wanted to post about this because i am so excited about it. Now we just need the weather to get warmer so we can use our new toys. Ander will be in complete heaven i am sure.

Dinner with the Pratt's

Ariane, Bryan, and their 3 kids came over lastnight for dinner because Ariane made some of the halibut Bryan brought back from Alaska. It was a very tasty dinner and i do not usually like seafood, but their halibut was sooo good. I met Ariane and Bryan while i was living in New York and then they moved back to Utah after i did and we have stayed friends the whole time.
