He's Three!!

My big boy turned 3 today! We celebrated Ander's birthday by having cake and ice cream on Sunday with Chuck's fam and then lastnight with my fam. Robyn and i also took Ander and Dawson to Kangaroo Zoo and lunch today, so Ander has had a fun filled birthday.

Some things about Ander at 3 years old are:

He asks to eat candy, ice cream, or popsicles for every meal. This makes meal time pretty difficult because he is not eating well at all these days, i need to figure something out to help him eat better.

He loves his baby brother and gives him kisses all day long.

He is quite the defiant child lately and if you do not give him what he wants when he asks, he will say, "i want ---- Right NOW!!" or he will yell "No, No, No!!!" What a stinker, right?

He loves to watch Barney, Elmo on Sesame Street, Horton Hears a Who, and Lord of the Rings which Ander calls "Rivers" because of the rivers in it. (Daddy let's him watch that, not mommy) :)

He still asks for Bubbles every time we go to the store, but when we open them for him to use, he spills all of the bubbles out. (it is pointless and wasteful to buy them, but he is a little spoiled and we always give in to buying them because he freaks out if we don't).

Ander is obsessed with his daddy and asks to see him as soon as he wakes up and cries when he leaves in the morning for work.

He still has no interest in being potty trained, so i am trying to figure out how to get him more interested.

He loves to watch the chorister at church and sings and leads the music all the time at home.

He is scared of alot of things just like his mom, poor kid. :)

He makes Chuck and i laugh with all of the funny things he says and he asks a million questions a day (this can be a little annoying, but mostly funny)

He can be the sweetest little guy EVER and i love that he is mine!!

Check-Ups...

Ander had his 3 year check-up and Sully had his 2 month check-up yesterday.

Ander is a big boy weighing 38 lbs (95%) and he is 38.5 inches tall (75%).

Sully weighed 11 lbs. (50%) and he is 23.7 inches tall (75%).

Both little guys are healthy and doing good. Poor Sully had to get 2 shots and so he has a little fever and is a little irritable today.

Also, we decided to go get ice cream lastnight and Ander tasted some of Chuck's coconut and he started crying hysterically saying that his teeth hurt. We were worried that he was allergic to the coconut, and sure enough when he woke up this morning, his eyes were completely swollen. We gave him some Benadryl, so hopefully that will help. He says that his teeth no longer hurt and there are no other symptoms, so i am not sure what is going on.

Also, Ander has not been sleeping well at all at night, (i think because he likes to watch the movie Coraline everyday and it scares him). I finally put a stop to him watching it yesterday. He would sleep with his light on in his room all night and even at nap time. So we decided to take out the lightbulb in his room lastnight and he slept much better, so i hope this problem is solved now. I have been only getting 4-6 hours sleep at night between waking up with the baby and Ander waking up so early, so i have been exhausted. Thank goodness for nap time! I am sure things will get better soon though.

Sully's Baby Blessing...

Chuck gave Sully a wonderful blessing yesterday and we had a tasty lunch at the park afterwards with mine and Chuck's fam. It was a great day! We are so happy to have Sully in our family, he is such a sweet and good little guy! I love these pics that my mother in law took! Thanks also to everyone who came to share in our's and Sully's special day! We love you all!

To celebrate our anniversary, Chuck took the day off yesterday and we headed up American Fork canyon. Chuck got to ride his dirt bike, Scott rode his 4 wheeler, and Robyn, Dawson, and i rode on their Razor. It was really fun, even though i was a "nervous nelly" most of the time. I had to hold Dawson the whole time and he loved it! He even fell asleep and it was a super bumpy ride. Thanks to my wonderful mother in law for watching our boys! Ander had a great time with grandma though, so i do not feel bad that he missed out on going with us. We also went to Tepanyaki for dinner with Rob, Scoot, and Dawson, along with Ander and Sully. It was a good way for us to celebrate our anniversary.
