Make-up Christmas Day at the Barkley's

So we felt up to going to Chuck's parent's today to make up from yesterday. Chuck's brother James is in town from California and we did not want to miss him. John and Karen spoiled us and Ander so much, they are the best!! We all got the coolest gifts from them. I will need to take pics of Ander with his new toys since we mostly just video taped him (with my new camcorder Chuck got me, what an awesome husband). :) We had a great time visiting them, but we still are not feeling back to normal, so we will be relaxing tonight. Chuck also got us a season pass at Brighton to go snowboarding, so we will be going on Monday, hopefully. I can't wait!! Well, we sure had a good Christmas after all! Much thanks to my fam and Chuck's fam, we love you all!

Aubrey Christmas Party

Here are some pics from my family Christmas party. It was held at Jon and Becky's house and the dinner was fabulous as always. We played pictionary this year and that was really fun. I scored most of the points for the girls, i rock at Pictionary. :) We sure missed my parent's not being there, at least we were able to talk to them on the phone.

We Missed Christmas....

The celebration, that is. We were supposed to spend the night at Chuck's parent's on Christmas eve and then spend Christmas day with them opening presents and having a nice lunch. Instead, we were all home in bed sick with the stomach flu. We seriously all just slept almost all day yesterday and we were all miserable. Merry Christmas to us, oh well, at least Ander does not know what he was missing. We are still trying to recover today, but Chuck's mom will be coming over tomorrow so we can exchange presents then, that is if we are feeling better. I know opening presents is not what Christmas is about, and i am so happy that we were able to attend our Christmas program at church on Sunday, they are always great. We were also able to go to my family Christmas party on Sunday and that was really fun. I am so thankful for the birth of Christ and for all of the many blessing that i have in my life. I hope everyone else had a good Christmas and hopefully ours will be better next year.

Chuck's mom took pics of us the other day and she did a great job, considering she had like 10 minutes to take them. Thanks again Karen! Don't you just love my red slippers? I was trying to be Christmas-ee looking. :)

Friend Christmas Party!

We had our annual friend Christmas party at Becky's lastnight and it was really fun and good to see everyone. We had good food and i got a cute shirt from our gift exchange. We even learned some cool pic poses from Tiff and Beck as you can see. :) Too bad alot of our friends live out of state and could not make it, we missed them.

Ander meets Santa!

Ander had just woken up when we sat him on Santa's lap, i thought he would freak out. Thank goodness, we lucked out and he totally smiled, loved it!! Thanks Karen meeting us at the mall, for the pics, and for being such a great grandma!!

Update on Ander's Ears

I took Ander to Primary Children's today so he could have a hearing test and so the dr. could see how the tubes are doing. Well, he failed the hearing test in one ear and then when the dr. checked him, he had alot of fluid draining in both ears, which means he has infections in both ears still! I guess Ander has had constant ear infections even after the tubes were put in, poor kid! He has no clue what it is like to not have an ear infection, I feel so bad for him! So now we have to put ear drops (which cost $50 with insurance) in his ears twice a day for 2 weeks and then go back for another hearing test and check up. If Ander still has fluid in his ears at that time, then he will have to be put on antibiotics to help get rid of the infection completely. I have heard so much good about tubes, so i hope after the next 2 weeks, that Ander will be a healthy boy completely. Ander was such an angel at the hospital today and we were there for 3 hours! I know things could be so much worse, so i am thankful that it isn't. The first pic is of Ander with a puffy red eye, which i have no clue how that happened, but i thought it looked bad, so i took a pic of it. The next 2 pics are of Ander being cute, wearing his new shoes, and of course, holding his precious bear.

Ander Loves his Bear

I know alot of my pics are of Ander in his high chair, but that is when he is still for me and can be so cute. Ander was giving his bear hugs and kisses and he was also saying the word "Angel" and "cheese", too cute!! Ander is such a sweet and adorable little baby, I am so blessed that he is mine. Also, an update on Ander, he is doing much better and the dr just said that he had the flu, so he will hopefully not get sick again for a while.

Funny Faces, Davis, & Sick AGAIN!

Here are pics of some funny faces of Ander, per Jenn's request. :) Too bad he does not have a shirt on, but i have to take the pics when i get the chance. The camera does not give the full effect either, but they are still pretty funny to me. Also, my brother's baby boy Davis was blessed yesterday and it was so neat and fun to go to. I was able to just take a few pics of him, so here is the cutest one. Also, Ander is sick again or still sick, since it is never ending it seems. He has had a fever over 104 the last few nights and i cannot tell what is causing it. I will most likely have to take him to the dr. again today. I am sure everyone is sick of hearing about how sick Ander is all the time, but that is my life and i have to vent. Hope everyone else is doing well and having fun in the snow. :)
