Breakfast Fun!

I just had to post this, because Ander looked so cute eating his cereal this morning after he just woke up.

Children's Museum

We went to the Children's Museum at the Gateway yesterday, but unfortunately, my camera would not take a clear picture for me, so I will have to wait for Trista to send me some from her camera. Ander was a little nervous at first, but then he warmed up and had a fun time running around with Jenn and Trista's kids. I am sure Ander will be going there alot more in the future.

Swim Party and Elmo Chair

We went to Trista's yesterday for a back to school swim party in her backyard and as you can see from the pic above, Ander was not enjoying the cold water in the swimming pool. We had alot of fun though, thanks Trist!

Here is also a pic of the new Elmo chair we bought Ander. I guess we are going to be swaying him to love Elmo things now.

Ander's One Year Check-Up

So i took Ander to the dr. yesterday for his one year check-up. He now weighs 22 pounds, which is less than i thought and he had to get 2 shots, which was really sad. i also found out that he has another EAR INFECTION! This is the third one he has had and the last one was just a month ago. Thank goodness i took him to the dr! He hasn't had a temperature, which is a sign of an ear infection, but he has had a cold the last few weeks, so i thought that was why he has been so cranky. Poor little fella! I took some pics of Ander this morning to show how sick he looks, but he looks pretty happy actually.

Happy Birthday Ander!!

Ander's birthday was Saturday, Aug. 18 and we had so much fun celebrating with him! We took him to dinner at TGI Friday's and ordered him his first kids meal of mac-n-cheese and oranges, which he absolutley loved. We also kept giving him taste's of Chuck's drink, which was minty lime and he loved it and kept making the funniest faces, which you can see on some of the pics i posted today. We also bought him an Elmo doll that you program to say Ander's name and alot of other cool things. It was so funny because you would push Elmo's belly and he would say "Happy Birthday And-o (for Ander), it's your birthday, you are One, it is so cute and Ander loves it! I also had my whole fam over lastnight for dinner and it was so yummy and fun. I didn't take much pics, because i videotaped everything. Cute Kids and Ander's Birthday Preview

We went to Chuck's parents' on Sunday and we celebrated Ander's birthday with them since we will not be seeing them this weekend, which is when Ander's birthday really is. Chuck's parents' gave Ander a toy remote control and a big Tonka truck for him to ride on and he loves them both and has been playing with them so much this week. Thanks Karen and John, we love you guys!! Ander also ate his first cupcake and it was so funny to watch him. Chuck's brother took alot of pics, so i will post them when i get them from him. Also, Chuck's dad is doing a little better, but they did not find anything on the MRI, so he is now on medication that makes him really dizzy, so that has not been fun, so we will see how he does in the next few weeks. I have talked to my parents a few times since they left and they made it to Hawaii safely and they are loving it and doing great! I also went to my friend Jenn's house this week along with my other friend Trista and her kids and we had a fun time. I also went to Chuck's parents' house afterwords and that was fun as well. It was nice to get out and do something since Chuck has been gone most of the week for work. I was able to use my anniversary present today, which was getting a massage and pedicure and it was much needed and so nice! Thanks Chuckles, you are the best!
I am going to Park City tomorrow with my sister to get some clothes for Ander and I and I cannot wait! We will be celebrating Ander's birthday on Saturday and also on Sunday because i am having my family over for dinner that day, so Ander will be getting his share of cake this week.

Even though Ander is getting 2 new teeth and has been super cranky, he still can be adorable!

Weekly Update

So from my last post about my anniversary, Chuck really spoiled me and it was so unexpected and so nice of him, he really is the best! I did end up making him a really nice dinner, so i guess he got a little spoiled too, since i rarely make nice dinners. :)

Ander was sick all last week, which was not fun, but he seems to be doing better today.

We went to one of Chuck's best friend's wedding (Brandt) on Saturday and that was really fun and good to see all of his friends. We are really happy for them!

Now for my sad, but also happy news, my parents left this morning to the MTC, so we told them our goodbye's lastnight. We went to their setting apart yesterday afternoon and that was really neat and then we had a BBQ at my brother Jon's house for them lastnight. Don't worry that I am such a baby, I have been crying a ton since Saturday because I will miss them sooo much and that Ander will not get to see them for 18 months. I really am the baby of the family and I am used to going over to my parent's house pretty much every day and having them help me run my errands and just spending time with them, so this will be quite the adjustment for me and Ander. I really am sooo happy for them that they will be able to serve the Lord and be in such a nice place and i know we will all be blessed for it. I just want to thank them for all they have done for me and for being such great examples.

Another bit of not so good news, Chuck's dad has been having severe pain in his jaw and neck and so he will be having an MRI done on Thursday to see what is causing it. I hope he will get better soon, poor guy. Well, I am off to my daily gym outing.

I cannot believe Ander will be a year old in 11 days, wow time flies!
